Can money buy happiness?

Yes. Absolutely. The problem is: do we have enough money, and do we know where to buy? If you believe that money can’t buy happiness, show me one thing connected with happiness that money can’t buy. But at first, let’s find out what happiness is. The answer for that question is unknown. Or more exactly, there are too many answers. Some says that happiness is health, love, family, peace… and let’s see if there is anything money can’t buy.

The first thing that everyone loves to make an example of what money can’t buy is health. That’s right that money can’t buy a god-medicine, which can cure every diseases, make you run at 100km/h or turn you into immortal [but believe me, it’s just the matter of time]. Back to 2010, what can we have with money? With lots of money, we can have our own doctors. There will be general and detailed health test every day or at any time we want. With money, we can buy a house in mountain region, or near the beach, where the air is fresh with lots of sunlight. Or a house in countries which have good medical system, friendly people, no pollution [I’m thinking about Norway, Denmark, Swiss, … North Europe]. We can eat good and healthy foods every day, which is cooked based on our recent health condition. With money, there’s no need for working. It means lots of time for exercising. When you’re sick [due to a very special occasion], you can have the best medicine, the best treatment. We don’t have to take dangerous transportation when we can buy a tank to go on the street. So, money, indeed, can improve your health. Or, it can buy some.

Another thing is peace, comfort. With money, we don’t have to think about how to make ends meet. Only that helps a lot. We can travel a lot, meet many people, party crazily. We don’t need to compete with anyone, so you don’t have enemies. We can collect things we love. And the most important is with money, we can LIVE WITH OUR DREAMS, which we have to get rid of in order to earn enough money for living. And we can be ourselves. No need to lie. So, why can’t you feel peaceful with lots of money?

Third must be love. Many readers now pay more attention to my explanation why money CAN buy love. First, there are many kinds of love. But, let’s talk about the most simple: love. With money, no need to worry about the cost of hanging out. No stress, more comfortable can make you fall in love more easily. With money, no need to work, more time for love. With money, I will text her everyday though she is far away. If I have enough money, every nights I will ask a girl out. Sooner or later, I will get a girlfriend. Imagine you don’t have money. Morning, working. Evening: back home, tired, housework, and sleep. There is almost no chance. Money can buy love if you know how to. And if you have a lover, good health, peace… why can’t you love yourself?

So, what can’t money buy? Time? Of course, now, money can’t make you immortal, or take you to the past. But money save you a little time when you don’t have to waste time working to earn money, or do housework. You won’t waste time surviving. You will spend time LIVING.
